The duration of the program is 6 months, with the possibility of extension in relation to the possible evolutions of users' needs. High-intensity intervention can be followed by a medium / low intensity intervention aimed at facilitating socio-work reintegration. Duration of the program 6 months with possibility of possible extension after careful evaluation of the outcomes.

Work activities, mainly in the field of horticulture and management and maintenance of green areas, construction and light carpentry favor the development of autonomy, a sense of responsibility and capacity for both production and management. Even in the most disadvantaged conditions it represents an important resource for conserving and enhancing residual abilities, as well as being a useful tool to promote socialization. An important function is carried out by expert craftsmen able to transmit skills and professional experience. Craft activities are privileged to facilitate the creation of employment opportunities in view of social reintegration through the relationship with training institutions present in the area.

The program is aimed at 10 male users, adults, in which alcohol addiction has not led to a neurological, psychiatric or internist compromise, such as to prevent adequate participation in the activities that the program provides. The duration of the program is three months with possible extension of another three months.

The insertion will take place at the request of the Ser.T Company U.S.L. of competence, which will have to provide a psychosocial relationship and a clinical-internist relationship. After the suitability assessment, a first interview with the interested user is foreseen, if possible, accompanied, if available, by the family members. In the cases indicated, it would be necessary to precede the insertion from a hospitalization in the hospital ward for the implementation of detoxifying and detoxifying measures, also allowing the appropriate diagnostic investigations.

Premessa

La Fondazione Nuovo Villaggio del Fanciullo offre una proposta terapeutica che comprende, a fianco dei vari interventi medici, psicologici, pedagogici ed educativi e all’inevitabile ingrediente sociale dato dalla struttura comunitaria, un intervento che comprende e valorizza la componente del benessere fisico attraverso un’attività sportiva regolare e organizzata grazie anche alle numerose strutture presenti nel centro.
Le attività sportive sono calibrate sulle caratteristiche fisiche e psichiche dei gruppi al fine di migliorare lo stato di salute dei pazienti.
Numerose evidenze certificano i benefici dell’attività fisica regolare sia in termini di prevenzione di patologie organiche (obesità, malattie cardiovascolari, diabete, tumori, ecc.) sia relativamente a disturbi mentali e alla sintomatologia ad essi correlata.

Destinatari

Tutte le persone inserite nei percorsi offerti dalla Fondazione:

• Pazienti inseriti nella comunità terapeutica Villaggio del Fanciullo;
• Pazienti inseriti nel COD Villa Nina;
• Minori stranieri non accompagnati residenti nella struttura dedicata.

Finalità

• Promuovere uno stile di vita sano ed equilibrato;
• Rinforzare la coesione tra i pazienti che condividono il percorso terapeutico;
• Aumentare l’effetto delle attività terapeutiche proposte;
• Migliorare lo stato di salute fisica in pazienti che presentano delle fragilità;
• Valorizzare le strutture sportive di cui dispone la Fondazione (tensostruttura con due campi da basket/pallavolo/calcetto; campo da calcetto in erba);
• Promuovere i valori che insegna lo sport e che possono risultare utili ad affrontare le difficoltà che si presentano nella vita di chi ha sofferto di tossicodipendenza (rischio ricadute, tolleranza alla frustrazione, fragilità emotiva, ecc.).

Obiettivi specifici

• Offrire un’attività sportiva regolare e bilanciata coerente con lo stato di salute e le possibilità fisiche di ognuno;
• Diminuire il rischio di drop out;
• Inserire nell’organizzazione quotidiana dei momenti dedicati all’attività fisica che possano poi essere utilizzati dai pazienti anche individualmente e in previsione di un reinserimento sul territorio;
• Formare degli operatori che possano apprendere attraverso il contatto con degli esperti in materia nuove abilità per poterle poi insegnare ai ragazzi.
