Neighbourhood services are managed by the Foundation of the New Village of the Child within the Ser.T of Forlì will cover various projects, the Foundation for the creation and management of services will take 3 human resources: 1 sociologist, 1 psychologist and 1 teacher social.
The project “the Unity of the Road Borderline”
The actions of information, awareness-raising and reduction of risks in the contexts of entertainment are carried out in places such as discotheques, clubs, youth clubs, pubs, festivals, various events, aimed particularly at a youth audience at which it is left to the free decision of access to the workstations of the operators with the measurement of the blood alcohol concentration through the instrument of the breathalyzer. Also, are deployed alcohol test disposable, condoms and information material on psychotropic substances, legal and illegal, sexually transmitted diseases (STDS) and pathological gambling (GAP).
The multi-disciplinary team is available for further information and to intervene in critical situations; events that are particularly relevant is made the connection with the medical and paramedical personnel present. And is also expected to work for the awareness of managers of local operators and event organizers in order to improve the health and protection of participants.
The Project “Chat&Coffee”
Provides for the presence of a specialized team in the field of prevention of road accidents linked to the intake of psychotropic substances, legal and illegal. This team operates on the week-end with the purpose of offering a break to drivers who were in the surroundings after having spent the night in the premises of the riviera romagnola.
The team, equipped with the camper-provided by USL of Romagna, sits on the Provincial Road of Cervia, at the junction with the Adriatic, to intercept the vehicle in the reentry phase. The activity is planned for the duration of the night until the morning where they distributed coffee, water and sweet and savoury snacks and the possibility to measure the blood alcohol concentration through the test of the breathalyzer.
Project “(IM)is EQUAL to”
The project was conceived with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and informed choices in reference to risk behaviour among adolescents, using the methodology prior to the peer education, with the aim of producing a “beneficial cascade reaction” that facilitates the movement of knowledge and skills related to the issues relating to the use, abuse and dependence of psychotropic substances, legal, illegal, and behavioral. The peer educators act, then, to be facilitators of change and attitudes towards their peers. The educational path proposed to the peer has the aim to develop their interpersonal skills and communication skills useful to the construction of identity, and to hone listening skills and acceptance of others.
The role of professionals is to facilitate the educational process by bringing out and supporting the resources and the initiative of young people. Specifically, they aim to promote attitudes and responsible behaviour with respect to psychotropic substances and sexuality, increase the involvement of young people in educational strategies on psychotropic substances, and sexuality, to inform youth on psychotropic substances, and sexuality using a scientific language and tools (such as video, art and music), close to the world of youth, increase the perception and awareness of risk behaviours related to psychotropic substances and sexuality, increase decision-making abilities, autonomous and aware.
The project “National Centre for the documentation on the drugs - The grocery store”
The documentation centre collects all of the production is “non-scientific” drugs, consumption, risk behaviour, adolescence. The collection thus covers issues related to cinema, literature, music and art, giving ample space to the gadgets produced by international Institutions, or self-produced by the NGOS. All material is made available for Educational Institutions, students and citizenship. The team responsible for the promotion of the activities of the Documentation Centre on Drugs, collection, and storage of the material in the national and international related to psychotropic substances, providing the opportunity for the public to view and refer to the latter for the purpose of public awareness and dissemination of a wide experience with the aim of promoting culture. The professionals have also designed, set up and curated many exhibitions ad-hoc posters regarding the topics mentioned above, which were carried out on the national territory, in institutional contexts (the headquarters of Region Emilia Romagna, Ospedale G. B. Morgagni Forlì) and not (Youth Centers, pubs, Chill-Out).
It has also created a page and profile facebook by the name YOUNGLE CORSAIRS, with the aim to offer free services to listen to, help and counseling on-line for teenagers, a peer group under 20 adequately trained and suppportati during the course of the chat from the team multiprofessional and spervisionati on a monthly basis by the psychologist.
